Compared with MA-1, MA-3 adds the function of changing the input impedance (150Q to 15KQ), adjusting the impedance to match the impedance of the microphone, so as to find the ideal working state of different microphones. At the same time, you can creatively load the output voltage by adjusting the impedance, so that each microphone can get a wide range of sound quality changes. Usually the input impedance suitable for ordinary microphones is 1.5K or higher.

The cut-off frequency during operation is affected by the impedance setting. This is very important for the timbre properties and near-field effects of ribbon microphones or dynamic microphones.
